About Dr Rekha Tailor

Dr Rekha Tailor is the founder and Medical Director of Health & Aesthetics. With over 30 years of experience in medicine, she is widely respected for her clinical expertise, gentle manner, and commitment to delivering natural, safe aesthetic results.

After qualifying from the University of Manchester in 1989, Dr Tailor trained in general practice, later gaining full membership to the British College of Aesthetic Medicine. She transitioned into aesthetic medicine over a decade ago, combining her passion for patient care with cutting-edge non-surgical treatments.

Today, she is recognised as one of the UK’s leading aesthetic doctors. Dr Tailor offers a wide range of treatments—from Botox and dermal fillers to Polynucleotides, Julaine, laser therapy, PRP, and energy-based skin tightening—always tailored to the individual. Her approach is clinically precise and refreshingly honest: every treatment begins with a detailed consultation, full skin analysis, and bespoke plan.

Our history

Health & Aesthetics was founded by Dr Rekha Tailor in 2008 to bring safe, medically led aesthetic treatments to Surrey. Originally launched as a small private clinic, it quickly gained a reputation for high standards in Botox and filler treatments, always backed by detailed consultations and ethical guidance.

As demand grew, Dr Tailor expanded the clinic’s services to include advanced technologies such as laser resurfacing, radiofrequency microneedling, and non-surgical facelifts using Sofwave. In 2015, the clinic moved into a purpose-built space in Elstead, with private treatment rooms and tranquil surroundings designed for patient comfort and discretion.

Every treatment introduced—whether Polynucleotides, PRP, or CoolSculpting—is carefully selected based on proven safety and results. Dr Tailor continues to oversee all clinical decisions and patient care, supported by a highly trained team. What if I need aftercare or follow-up?

Each treatment includes personalised aftercare instructions. We will advise the importance of not touching the area post-treatment as to avoid introducing infection to the area. We also advise avoiding products that contain aspirin in advance of the treatment as this thins the blood and can cause bruising around the injection site.
